On the weekend Eritreans of Santa Clara County elected their new four member leadership, which comprises one woman and four men.

It was orderly conducted meeting, after scruples discussion and debate the assembly voted to keep the five member election committee which were elected by the preliminary assembly.

After election is concluded we left the campus and headed to our community, there we have to seat and discuss what is to be done next. And celebrated our unity at the community all night.

It is remarkable to notice how Eritreans are capable of pulling together in bad and good times to face and solve situations that determine their fate. For those who are lecturing democracy and other blubber… to Eritreans should rather learn from them. After all “Baitto” is Eritrean tradition.
